What is love? Baby, don't hurt me...

I sit here, and just think... What is it all about? Is it all about the Big Bang theory, matter and forces? Or is it about the feelings, fleeting moments and inexplicable decisions that affect us all. Most would say it's both, I think. But how can these two contrasting ideas compliment each other and culminate in what we call 'Life, the Universe and everything'?
All emotions are about chemicals. It's a proven fact that we are affected by our hormones and messages from our brains through our nervous systems...yet nobody can explain Love. It's a mystery! The most profound thinkers can spend hours wondering about what the point is! Surely, if we were a more primitive species, we would have the feelings of lust for another for reproduction, not for spending time together. And yet, we are such social creatures and love completely baffles the best of us!
Poets and Novelists portray their views on the subject, and many others, in so many different, often biased manners. It still remains an unanswered question to us all and yet it is something that everyone wants...whether they know it or not, it's a necessity.
Creationism. Where does that come from? I am Catholic, and I do believe that everything was triggered by God, but the Big Bang DID happen. It's the only thing that scientists believe truly possible at the moment and it is entirely plausible. However, there must have been something that started it all off and physicists have yet to solve that question and so I believe that the only plausible idea is that something supernatural started it. I'm not going to force my ideals down anyone's throat, so don't criticise my faith, I won't disrespect anyone like that and I expect the same.
So, life, what is it really all about? I don't know! And I'm pretty sure you don't either. All we can do is go for it. Live life how we want(without hurting others in the process) and make the most of the good times we have in this planet, who knows what happens next!!!

Just some profound thinking for you there ;)
